YOGA DAWN PRIVACY NOTICE

The EU General Data Protection Regulation legislation controls the way companies record, retain & use personal data. It concerns the consent you give to Nicki Willis (“I”, “We” or “Yoga Dawn”), to receive information regarding yoga classes & events. When you attend a yoga class, you give (or deny) consent to be contacted regarding class information, to receive updates, cancellations & other selected notices regarding yoga events that I recommend. As sole individual, I act as data officer in relation to all yoga classes that I teach. YOUR PERSONAL DATA & HOW I USE IT

The information I collect comes from your communications with me (email, text or telephone) & the student registration forms.

Students are required to complete a “Student Registration Form” at their first class. This will include your contact details (address, telephone &/or email address), date of birth (in case of repetition), emergency contact information (name, relation, contact number, medical contact) & information regarding any medical conditions or injuries you may have. The latter information is requested to allow suitable teaching modifications to maintain safety & allow inclusion.

This information is retained whilst you are an active member of my classes. If you cease to attend classes, this information will be deleted securely after five years. Paper forms will be kept in a locked cabinet. You may request a copy of this information at any time. Information may be updated or rectified if no longer correct. I do not share this information with any third parties, unless requested to in the event of a medical emergency by the individual. This information will never be sold to another party.

I do not retain any information on payments, including bank cards or accounts.

If you prefer to not receive communications you may contact me by text or email & I will endeavour to remove you from the communication list within 28 days.
